Outside of the obvious questions with new QBs, tackle has to be the main concern with this offense. There are a ton of guys who can play guard, but top tackles are so rare, and you can’t be a good team without them. Look what happened to the Kansas City Chiefs. In 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls, they won 2 and got totally wiped out in the third. Why? Both their tackles were out injured in the game they lost, and Mahomes was running for his life the entire time. Sound familiar? I know Bloesch will have these guys coached up, and things will be better. We’ll have to wait and see how much better.

I'm excited and open-minded to see what a "no-excuses" type of season this is going to be. Given the coaching changes and the player changes from the transfer portal, no one can accuse this Golden Bears football team of doing nothing. Lots has been done and there really aren't any excuses. There are a lot of grown men with experience now in place. I view it as a test of just how quickly a program can be able to turn around its on-the-field fortune when moves can be made. Moves were made, skoden!
