Big Game: Cal v. Stanford Kick-Off Time Announced

The 127th Big Game between Cal v. Stanford will be an afternoon game

The 127th Big Game between Cal and Stanford will kick off in Berkeley, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 12:30 p.m. Pacific, according to an announcement from Cal Athletics and the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday afternoon. The football game will air on the ACC Network.

The California Golden Bears (5-4, 1-4 ACC) and the Stanford Cardinal (2-7, 1-5 ACC) have struggled this year in their inaugural season as Atlantic Coast Conference members. The Cardinal were blown out by the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Nov. 2, 28-59, and earned their first win in the ACC on Sept. 20 against the Syracuse Orange. The Golden Bears won its first ACC league game last weekend against Wake Forest.

California has won the last three Big Games against Stanford. The Golden Bears beat the Cardinal this past season 27-15 in Stanford, Calif., and won 27-20 in the last match-up at home in Strawberry Canyon on Nov. 19, 2022.

The 127th Big Game will be the California Golden Bears’ last home game this season. Their last regular-season match-up this season will be played against Southern Methodist in Dallas on Nov. 30.
