The biggest difference between when the Bears played the Huskies in Seattle and now is that the offense has come alive for them. The Huskies have shot over 35% from 3 in all but 3 of their games in the month of January. Even in those 3 games, the Huskies won 2. The defense is turning people over and getting out in transition. For a team that looked like they were out of the postseason, they have played themselves back into potentially being in the bubble. From bottom four to top four, Mike Hopkins has turned this team around over the month of January. This game looked to be the most winnable game at home in a while, but that’s quickly changed now. KenPom still has us winning, but it’s going to be another tough out if Andre Kelly is unable to go. (Kelly was seen wearing a protective boot over his left foot/leg in Palo Alto on Tuesday)
And if you missed there Bears’ last game against Stanford make sure to check out the recap.
Cal’s Win Probability and Score according to KenPom: 54% (67-66 Win)
No Kelly, no W. With Kelly, no W. No W.
Well at least Kenpom thinks we win. Unless we get more offense I don't see the Bears winning any close games.
