Hey! We're 10x more likely to win it than Stanford. Progress! : D

Woo! Let the transition from perennial "Top of the Bottom Third in the Pac 12" to perennial "Bottom of the Middle Third in the ACC" begin!

I beleive that the increased travel will cost us at least 1 road game.

Tough to quantify that…roadies are tough, regardless of where they’re at. A non-stop east probably isn’t much more difficult than at Wazzu, tho.

I fear Peter Sirmon will cost us at least 1 road game.

This morning on Fan Duel sports book. Cal is +5500 to win ACC. Might hit the Indian Casino up the road with paltry $10 for a $550 present should extreme luck prevail.

Different conference, same low expectations.

Great summary, quite reasonable and logical. I hate how gambling and dollar bets have permeated this sport and all sports.

California remains woefully behind the times…they could be generating billions in tax revenue from legalized wagering, like New York.

California needs to just allow tribal casinos and horse racing tracks to operate sports betting. They already comply with all gaming laws and have the capacity to add sports books to their casinos/tracks. It’s an easy solution.

The human cost is too high. Families are ruined. As soon as you start to lose, which most do (duh), the operator assigns a “concierge” to you to offer free bets and other enticements to stay in the game.
