Going to head up to Tahoe with probably everyone else tonight. Staying in Folsom and then driving to Heavenly tomorrow morning. Then staying in Reno and then heading to Northstar on Sun. I'm guessing 50 will still be chains required tomorrow morning since it won't get above freezing until noon. I've got No 1's STI with snow tires but I bought 2 sets of Snow Socks to use just in case. There won't be any new snow so it shouldn't be R3 where AWD cars need chains. The STI doesn't have much clearance so Cables won't fit.
I'm mystified at what NBC is aiming at with some of the programming decisions. Unprecedented amount of curling coverage, and a lot of skiing, but downhill, a signature event, almost an afterthought.
Also don't understand heavy coverage of luge & skeleton, then relatively light obscure coverage of bobsleds.
Is there an American man in the downhill. No Lindsey Vonn so maybe that's why? Though I assume there is an American woman in the hunt, but at least to the average person she isn't a big name.
And of course coverage of Canada's semi started 12 minutes into the second period of the game, and after potentially deterministic goals.
Hate "drop-in" coverage where something important just happened, but was missed, produced by programmers who don't know anything about what they are covering, and care even less.

The evening is scheduled to run from 5:30-8 p.m. PT.
I don’t have any. I noticed the woman who got bronze in the monobob had some on her hands and when I checked out her NBC profile page it says about 60% of her body is covered in ink.
It has gone overboard. Some are ok, but nothing would be lost if they weren't there. More are garrish, oversized distractions instead of body art (and most weren't anyway).

Body art or not
i dont have any tattoos but i have a couple good scars from injuries and the ensuing surgery.
it is interesting how tattoos have become mostly mainstream. i think my kids would consider it.

Growing up (HS '69), I'd rarely see tattoos with the exceptions, though still not prolific, being:
At the Greyhound Bus Station
Carnival at the State Fair
A furtive glimpse of friends Dads that got them in WW2 or Korea usually on the arm.
Occasionally have put on a temporary tattoo.
Our youngest has a tat on a leg above the knee.
I do not think our oldest has one.
