SF Gate article on the event:

https://www.sfgate.com/news/bayarea/article/berkeley-photos-violence-breaks-out-at-protest-21157575.php

The headline says "violence breaks out," but if you actually read it then you see the violence was basically one guy getting into a fight with another guy and otherwise it was just protestors who kept clear of the building and the actual event went on as scheduled.

A bit hyperbolic, it seems. Unfortunately, this is standard issue crap journalism when we need straight shooting. A variation on, "if it bleeds, it leads".

Reranking every Power 4 quarterback after two months of the 2025 season

Mendoza #3,

I made it clear on Sunday that I thought Sayin should be the Heisman betting favorite instead of Mendoza, but that doesn't mean Mendoza hasn't been awesome.

JKS #46

He's resilient and exciting; you could sort of say the same about Cal.

Warriors get wake up call in OKC

https://www.goldenstateofmind.com/warriors-scores-results/104990/warriors-get-wake-up-call-in-okc

At the end of the first quarter Tuesday night, there was a strong sign that it was not going to be the Golden State Warriors’ night. With eight seconds to go, Moses Moody made a three to cut the Oklahoma City Thunder lead to three points. Then, Steph Curry committed the first flagrant foul of his 17-year career to give Isaiah Joe three free throws with 1.3 second left. After time expired, the referees ruled Moody released his three-pointer after the shot clock expired, and suddenly the Thunder had a nine-point lead.
