California women's basketball head coach Charmin Smith can now add a gold medal to her resume, as she helped the 2026 USA Women's U18 National Team win its 12th straight gold medal with a 90-72 win over Canada on Monday night at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup in Irapuato, Mexico. The victory also concluded an undefeated run in the tournament.
Ten California student-athletes representing seven different teams have been named to the 2025-26 At-Large Academic All-District Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. Four of those Golden Bears – Charlie Bundy (men's golf), Jenna Colligan (beach volleyball), Jasper Smith-Gordon (men's gymnastics) and Tucker Yasunaga (men's gymnastics) – now boast multiple Academic All-District awards in their Cal careers.

Last year's Finals between Oklahoma City and Indiana averaged 10.31 million across seven games
I completely agree with the "it depends on where they're from" take on French fries. While I am one of those sickos that loves In-N-Out fries, I think that the best are from Five Guys. Either way, I think fries barely beats out hash browns, followed by tots.

I do like 5 Guys fries better. There is a midwest (?) chain Penn Station Subs that has amazing fries. Almost better than 5 guys.
