David Lance Goines’ Collection at The Bancroft Library
This past week, the Bancroft Library announced that they are in the process of acquiring the collection of Berkeley Artist David Lance Goines. Goines attended UC Berkeley and was working toward a degree in Classic before being expelled for his involvement in the Free Speech Movement (whoops!) Goines art features prominently across Berkeley at the UC Botanical Garden, Chez Panisse, at the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology, Peet’s, the Berkeley Public Library and more. Read more about the collection here.
