The California Golden Bears (1-0) rolled to an 86-73 victory over Cal State Bakersfield (0-1) in their season-opener on Monday and will look to keep alive the win streak this week against Cal Poly on Thursday.

The Cal Poly Mustangs (0-1) are rebuilding their team with a new head coach after finishing 4-28 last year, including a 20-game losing streak to close out its season. The Mustangs lost their season-opener game, 78-86, against the University of San Francisco earlier this week.
