The California Golden Bears (3-5, 2-3 ACC) are away from Strawberry Canyon for the second-straight weekend to face the North Carolina State Wolfpack (3-4, 1-3 ACC) this weekend.
Cal’s visit to North Carolina State is the second-ever matchup in the series and the Golden Bears’ first in Raleigh, N.C.
Both programs have new head coaches at the helm.
All eyes will be on North Carolina State, who fired their head coach last week after the Wolfpack suffered a disappointing 28-31 loss to the Stanford Cardinal. Dave Doeren had been the head coach of NC State for 14 years.
