I go to every spring scrimmage but this one is on Cal Day and the Chancellor will be speaking in Memorial Stadium at 9 AM which means parking will be a total MESS. I'm 88 yeas old and recently had minor heart surgery and can't walk long distances. Why this day for us old alums?
The collective upside is that hopefully some of the kids from Cal Day will swing over to the stadium. The individual downside is campus will be a zoo. I happen to be going to Cal Day because my son just got admitted (Grrrahh!) They are listing a TON of activities for Cal Day, but unfortunately the scrimmage is not one of them! I admire (and envy) your dedication in going to every spring scrimmage. I aspire to follow in your footsteps in my retirement years.
Thanks. I was a high school and college football and track coach so I try to keep in "shape" with daily physical walking (hills) and lifting, but it takes time for an old guy.
With “some position change-ups and tryouts on both sides of the ball …. Trying to train as many guys as we can…”, this new head coach has me wanting to step in and give it a go for the old blue and gold.
Whatever you do, don't ask him a stupid question....withering...I love it!
Thumbs up, elbows in, eyes under eyes and trying to get some movement.

Being a Cal fan for that long is going to do things to your heart. Best of luck with a full recovery before the UCLA game!
The shuttle could be one option, but I agree that campus will be a madhouse. I don't blame you one bit.

Here's to a strong recovery from your heart surgey Geoff! Go Bears.

Impressive stuff. And unique.
Its funny how we seem to always have audio problems at these pressers. Maybe our new Strawberry Creek Studios will up the game.
