Scoreline: Cal loses 13-24

Without Jaydn Ott, its top receivers, and half of the offensive line, the Cal offense struggles to string drives together. The Cal defense frustrates the Auburn offense for most of the game, but ultimately can't hold as Auburn starts to pull away in the 4th quarter.

Scoreline: Cal wins 45-23

Until proven otherwise, I choose to believe that this team can improve on the second half of last week. QB play will settle down and we should be able to drive. Defense will be tested by the SEC athleticism, and regardless of the result will be a good benchmark for the expectations of the defense. All that being said…I’m going with my heart-pick of Cal upsetting in SEC country for the second time in 10 years.

I was a lot more optimistic for this game about 10 days ago. Now it feels like I need to put on the pads with the amount of injuries that Cal is incurring. Physically hoping for the best, mentally preparing for the Bears to simply not have enough juice to get over the top

I think it will be closer than the betting lines let on. Auburn built momentum last week and I think they’ll look past Cal.
