Nick a wee bit harsh on BJ I think. He and Tevis earned A's in my opinion. If our "natural" NGs can stay healthy and play next year our DL will be a cornerstone of the team. Heck it may be the best DL in the conference if some of the new guys can contribute.

OL a bit too generous. They earned an F and that unit hasn't had measurable improvement during Wilcox's tenure. A major disappointment. Perhaps in '21 the light switch will turn on. I thought the staff should have sat Saffell and Curhan and let the youngins play out the season. Saffell is a fan favorite but will need to greatly improve next year to justify a start.

I think your grades were a little harsh cuz I didn't think Cal did anything *bad* over the year, at least in what you mentioned. Mediocre year all around.

Cal students are graded harshly. See: my Econ 112 grade.

Rose Bowl Bears! Golden-Colored Glasses. I can't make heads or tails of the 2020 season, except we beat Oregon. Could have won against Stanford and OSU. I agree that Weaver was a huge loss and even Deng didn't play up to the standards we expected.

I had already forgotten we beat Oregon this past season.

Deng pretty much won the Oregon game tho, after getting burned on that Dye wheel route early. He & Goode have a chance at All P12 honors next year...provided they get practice time

I forgot about that. Yeah he did have some great plays in the Oregon game with the exception of the wheel route mismatch.

Kansas City also has the threat of Pat Mahomes to keep the safeties at home and some of the fastest wide receivers in the NFL - two things that Cal does not have.
