2023 3* OL/DT Amos Talalele Commits to Cal
2nd Recruit for the 2023 Class
The 2023 Santa Clara OL/DL has 9 offers, 7 of which are from the Pac-12 (Cal, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, SC, Utah, and UW). It is still unclear of he’ll be going on the remaining 3 visits to Arizona, SC, and UW.
He already has a prototypical body type as well an athletic profile that lends itself to having a place on the interior of the DL. He squarely falls into the "men this big, should not move this quick” category of athlete.
You can see his jr. year tape. It can be hard at times to see how good he can be if at times he is squared up against guys who are half the size he is.
He will likely play on the DL but is classified on several sites as an (Rivals) OL or (247 Sports) DL.
3rd commit, we've had 1 de-commit.
Good to keep local kids at Cal, hopefully we can keep that going w/ several more kids ~ especially the 2 out of Pittsburgh.
Looks like Talalele will be our second de-commit and that he is headed to U$C.
