Even money baby...but what does it mean????? So bummed, I will be attending a traditional family dinner with in-laws who do not value the glory that is California football... Will be sneaking looks at ESPN Gamecast on my phone in my lap. I think this somehow helps us. Go Bears, get this one!

Kinda surprised at these odds. I know we're quite capable of sucking but still thought we'd favored.

Anecdotally, seems like we often do better in such situations when we are the underdog, vs expected to win. It is a homecoming for JKS. And in my mind, this is a litmus test - is the team just as excited about our upcoming coaching transformation, as the fan base is (despite our past history with Lupoi)? If the players are excited about the future, and folks mean to stay next year vs jump into the portal, then the team will show up firing on all cylinders. I'm expecting a win. Despite 30 years as a Cal fan, still optimistic and idealistic about our future. Fight for California!

These days I always want Cal to be the underdog. The way Cal hung with and beat a good Louisville team on the road and then knocked SMU out of the ACC championship makes me optimistic.

I have a bunch of thoughts running through my head on this one; it is hard to articulate them. Its like the feeling that the hard winter is over or something. After this season and so many before it, now with the coaching changes that are very promising, and the commitment from JKS to stick with Cal next season, all I got is, "Here comes the sun, and I say its alright." Looking forward to the game this evening and all the home games next season. Go Bears and Merry Christmas too!
