I am torn on whom to root for to win. Even though, We just recently join the ACC and despise Miami, I would like to see the ACC win the national championship and put all the critics that the ACC did not deserve a team in CFP. Then, on the other side We have Fernando Mendoza. As everybody else I was disappointed when He left but, this year He reach his potential which He never would have under Wilcox. Plus, Indiana has a chance to go undefeated this year.. Enjoy the Game...

In neutral site and home games Fernando has 34 TD’s and 2 INT’s, whereas in away games he has a 7 TD to 4 INT ratio. His completion % and yardage also are significantly down in his away games. Question is whether tonight will feel like a home game or a neutral game or instead an away game vibe. Word is that Indiana will pack the stadium, FWIW, and of course ‘Nando did grow up very close by.

ESPN guys pick Miami 3 out of 4. Only Pat went for Indiana. Nick Saban even put on a Miami hat. However, he also picked Alabama to beat Indiana in the Rose Bowl.

Rooting for Indiana

I understand, some Cal Alum and Coaches were disappointed that he left and then turned bitter when he wanted to return but only for more NIL money and Cal thusly declined to offer more money.

When Mendoza entered the transfer portal last year, we all thought he was going to Miami. He went to Indiana instead, and all I heard was that his little brother is at Indiana and the move was for his family.

No one said anything about him winning the Heisman or playing in the national championship game, and against Miami.

Turned out pretty good for him didn't it. I would very much like to see Indiana beat Miami tonight. Go Hoosiers!
