At first SMH because Minnesota's gold is the same hue. But then I realized what an excellent way that is to leverage the opponent's tendencies in our favor. The Gopher fans (at least some of them) will be doing their part to achieve our ends! Well done, Cal marketing. Well done.
I hate gold outs with a passion, I especially hate them for a night game. People barley own gold t shirts but very few people own sweatshirts if it's cold. Just do a blue out or even a white out
I hear you, but blue gets lost on TV and looks like an empty stadium. Gold blends in with the seats and fills gaps, and just pops better on TV. Student Store has Gold Sweatshirts too!
Last two times we did the Gold Out (Auburn and Miami), I bought gold (yellow) T-shirts, and that's all I needed for the night game. It wasn't cold at all. Auburn game was probably September, but the Miami game was the first week of Ocotober.
I was at those games as well but that's just counting on good weather. I hear what your saying on the Blue but freaking do the free pom pins in gold on every seat. Every time we try to do a gold out it's like 20-30% of the crowd.
I'm not saying that gold latex outfit on the webpage is the example of what they want us to wear... but yikes that looks like some Golden Bear BDSM type display. This is my contribution to the discussion.
I like the Warriors World shirt but the site looks like someone just created it to take pre-orders of a cool design. That is, it's hard to tell if the site is legit. Can anyone here vouch for it?
we've partnered with them with multiple drops. Its just the modern system of ordering merch pre-orders and make the number of orders you get instead of holding deadstock.

Yeah I think it's a terrible idea too.
Weather looks great this week! See you there in gold! I'll be wearing the gold Oski shirt in QQ
I love gooooollllldddddd
Ask Rick Chen to read this Fan's Guide so that he knows what color(s) are the California Golden Bears!

Got to cheer on the blue and yellow.

I’m saying it is!
I got a new Walking Bear gold shirt from Bear Basics to replace my last one.
When did you buy your old one?
Not sure. Probably for a gold out before Covid. It didn't wear out but got dirty from some of the hot OOC games and tailgates.
Somebody in marketing better be riding on the popularity of “golden” from the K-pop demon hunters in social media to get butts and gold in those seats

Yes! Warriors World is a great partner and the sweatshirt I have from them is great.
