As if there wasn’t enough bad news on the Cal football front, Cal men’s basketball decided to enter the fray.
With the transfer portal about to close up, Cal’s star wing Andrej Stojakovic has decided to move on from the Golden Bears.
Despite the loss of Jeremiah Wilkinson to Georgia, it seemed as if Cal had steadied itself with some nice complementary pieces that could have helped Andrej’s overall game.
However, Stojakovic was critical to this new version of the Bears. His departure gives Cal no clear number one scoring option and no real answer for how to put up points on the regular.
I can’t think of many more worse weeks to be a Cal fan. It’s just blow after blow, each more shocking and lethal than the last one. Nearly all our stars from 2024-25 in both revenue sports are out the door, leaving both programs in deep despair.
Where do we even go from here?
Has anyone checked to see if Oski has entered the transfer portal yet?
