Testing the waters...what does everybody expect from CAL this week against SMU? If we look as poorly coached as we have in previous weeks and if we get smoked like we did against WF, what's everyone going to think about a coaching change at the end of the season? I think SMU is going to look at the WF game film and try to duplicate the WF game plan with some twists. I am not optimistic about even a decent showing. Hell, I'm not even optimistic about beating Stanfurd right now.
Kevin Jennings likes to spread around the ball, including to opposing Safety's and DBs. I think we'll get some more out of the defense this week than we did against Gio Lopez.
I think Cal wont look as bad as we did at the Wake Forest game, but we will probably lose by a couple touchdowns or more. If we get beat up like the last game, a coaching change at the end of the season would be the right thing to do. I think we can still beat Stanford. That is my reply Rugbear for whatever it is worth. Do you know, that while we were at the game last Saturday, we watched the BYU/Notre Dame game on my buddy's tablet rather than the actual game in person in front of us. That is not natural and that is not right.
