I find it curious that we haven't heard a peep from Wilcox. I wonder if something is brewing? I have no inside knowledge, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wilcox rolled out to another gig. And then the Troy Taylor dream could start. LOL
Wilcox ain't going anywhere unless he is willing to take a D coordinator position that pays him a quarter of what he is making now. I would fall out of my chair if anyone, anywhere offered him something better.
In Washington's case, it just shows what a great head coach can do in a very quick time to turn around a team. Washington and Cal were very evenly matched in 2021 as evidenced by a game that went to overtime. Memo to self: Wilcox is not a great head coach and not even a good head coach. And he is blocking perhaps a historic chance to pick up Troy Taylor at a very good price. Sigh......
DeBoer is such a good coach. If he can recruit to UW they're gonna be a monster.

Better that there are no leaks than there are.
I can say that there have been interviews conducted this week. And spread throughout the week.
My Speculation: Probably why it’s taking a while for a final decision just due to logistics of interviewing everyone.

Washington's turnaround was actually from 4-8, not 5-7, which is even more impressive for DeBoer.
