As a long-suffering New York sports fan, I'm excited to be able to root for Ashtyn on the Jets. On the other hand, I wanted to see him drafted by a team that's not a complete tire fire.
Hopefully some local teams (well I guess the Raiders are not anymore) will pick up a few of these Bears either through the late rounds or FA. But the Niners rarely, if ever, pick Cal guys. Remember the Aaron snub.
Ashtyn Davis gets drafted by the Jets in the third round, 68th overall

I'm very excited. Lots of hard work paid off for Ashtyn, and his ceiling is still quite high.
Wish he'd gotten on a better-managed team than the Jets. Looking forward to seeing him get a big contract in a few years!
If he returns kickoffs I hope he doesn't try to hurdle tacklers at the NFL level.
Welcome to NYJ! Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is going to put him in great position to succeed and make this Jets defense even better.
