I think Wes Unseld goes a little bit far back but I'm in my 40s and I think about 80s and 90s Louisville legends like Darrell "Dr Dunkenstein" Griffith, Rodney McCray, Cliff Rozier and Never Nervous Pervis Ellison.,
Another reason to hope for an October game when we visit- the gorgeous Keeneland racetrack usually holds races then. It is in Lexington, an hour and 20 from Louisville, and worth the drive. You can do a few more stops on the Bourbon Trail on the way there/back.
Old enough to still think of AZ as a new upstart member with a good bb program and an occasional surprisingly troublesome football team. Pining for the ol’ PAC 8 over the madness of today
Thanks for rekindling my PTSD from that WBB semi. As I recall we stopped forcing the ball inside in the 2nd half and, so, kept them out of foul trouble…. Sads…..
Great posts, Nick! I’m on a steep ACC learning curve…..

I think this is the only Louisville intro in existence which doesn't point out that birds don't have teeth
Former Cal beloved chancellor Chang-Lin Tien got his MME at Louisville between undergrad in Taiwan and PhD at Princeton
Also, Nick, out of habit you have them as the Cardinal instead of the Cardinals up top.
I look forward to making this mistake constantly until these two teams aren't in the same conference anymore
