The mascot is Sebastian the Ibis, who for some reason has a duck bill instead of an Ibis' long thin bill. With this and Louisville's cardinal with teeth, it really makes you wonder about the state of biological sciences and ornithology in the ACC.
That clip reminds me of the old song; "Those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end......" Sigh.......Time to build a new legacy in football! GO BEARS!!!!!
Cristobal is the worst type of coach in my opinion. All about image and recruiting, and no substance and consistent winning. Think of Kyle Wittingham and how he takes Utah teams with less talent and will generally wipe the floor clean of teams like Miami under Cristobal. Our own Wilcox is a genius of game management compared to Cristobal.
That's what I remember from the game: Follet's sack to end it. I was lucky enough to be sitting in the front row in the upper deck at the end of the stadium where it happened, so I was looking right down at it. Definitely a top moment in my Cal fandom.
I want to know if this is Puddles cousin.

and if you at his picture in this post, the pain and self hatred from the duck bill is obvious.
He’s be a fitting character in a prequel to The Birds. 🐦
Thanks for clarifying this.
Also how to troll Miami?

Hahaha I'd never actually watched this with the live commentary, glad that the broadcasters were brutally honest in the moment.

If Miami played half as well as their recruiting classes are ranked... I'm glad we get them at home.
The 2008 Emerald Bowl win should also be credited to Zack Follet's sack and a scoop by Cameron Jordan.
