The 128th Big Game between Cal and Stanford will be an afternoon game
The 128th Big Game between the California Golden Bears (6-4, 3-3 ACC) and the Stanford Cardinal (3-7, 2-5 ACC) will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 4:30 p.m. Pacific, according to announcements from Cal Athletics and the Atlantic Coast Conference Monday morning.
The Cal v. Stanford college football rivalry game will air on the ACC Network.
The California Golden Bears have won the last four meetings in the Big Game series.
Cal, which will travel to Stanford, Calif., this year, has beat the Cardinal in its last three games played on The Farm.

I would point out that on November 22, 4:30 PM will be perilously close to sunset. With darkness descending upon Stanford Stadium midway through the 1st quarter, Alfred Hitchcock would be giving us his signature greeting, "Good evening".
"Afternoon game" may be technically correct, but this is fundamentally Pac-12 After Dark.
