BREAKING: Cal Men's Basketball Point Guard Devin Askew Out for Rest of the Season
The guard had season ending sports hernia surgery.
Cal Men’s Basketball announced that Junior Point Guard would be out for the remainder of the season after having sports hernia surgery on Wednesday. He is expected to make a full recovery from the injury.
“I am disappointed for Devin because he loves to play,” Fox said. “Our team will rally again to support him in recovery. We are encouraged that the procedure went well and he will make a full recovery in time to have a full offseason.”
He was averaging 15.5 PPG, 3.4 RPG and 3.0 APG through 13 games this season. Leading the team in scoring and assists.
