Entering the portal does not mean he’s out, however, it is a bad sign that someone so interwoven with the fabric of the university and program is headed into the portal.
So much for Mendoza’s legacy as a Cal legend. He’ll go down as a solid QB here, nothing more.
Hope the Wilcox apologists are happy now…your boy literally torpedoed the entire Cal Athletic Department.
