Cal Football Recruiting: Cal 3* Junior College Safety Isaiah Crosby and 3* OL Aiden Newbill
Dipping into the Junior College ranks to add to the Safety Depth with the 3rd best JUCO Safety, and adds another hog for the OL
For their 15th commitment of the cycle, and 3rd transfer recruit, Cal received the commitment of a sought after safety out of Trinity Valley C.C. He held offers from Texas Tech, Houston, SMU, WSU, WVU, and NC State.
In his last year with the Cardinals he accrued 5 interceptions with 5 pass break-ups. However, most of his production was done earlier in the season, if taken as a glass half-full it means offenses just refused to throw the ball into his part of the field.
Furthermore, Cal was able to flip Aiden Newbill who was Northwestern commit from Texas. He was committed to the Wildcats for 2 months before making the switch for Cal, he also held offers from SMU and UNLV.
He and Crosby are 2 more players from Texas growing out intake from the Lone Star State to 10.
