Also worth noting that Jaylen Brown was re-elected Vice President of the Players' Association earlier this year. He's really been everything we could want as a Cal alumnus.
Jaylen Brown is such a Bear. He embraces the academics and social activism of Berkeley, and I don't doubt will return again and again for studies and connection to the area. Wishing him all the best.
As a Laker fan I don't want the Celtics to get another championship but I am a big fan of Jaylen. I do hope he breaks through into superstardom. He's so intelligent that it seems like he's capable of seeing the game (and assessing his game) on another level.
As a casual observer of Brown as a pro compared to a much more complete review of his one year at Cal, I would say his greatest improvement as a pro has been his ability to hit the outside shot. I also don't recall Brown driving to the basket as much as he does now compared to when he was a Bear. But all aspects of Brown's game has steading improved as a pro.
The improving game of Cal alum Jaylen Brown could decide the 2022 NBA Finals
Well this was prophetic! Well done Ruey. Jaylen swung Game 1 when it mattered the most.
Go Bears!

Nice breakdown! This is definitely a big Finals storyline.
