The entire season is going to come down to one question: Can Cal cut their incredibly high turnover rate without negatively impacting their incredibly good shooting splits.

Freshmen contributed big time in 2nd quarter - Zahra King, Lola Donez, Gabrielle Abigor - to fuel comeback and lead at halftime. Shout out to Michelle and Gisella! Go Bears! Beat Alabama!!
Brain totally skipped the month, apologies for that. Abigor is doing a good job hustling and eating minutes which is good for her role right now. Donez is mostly doing a solid job of the little things, positioning, passing etc. Whoever breaks out off the bench between Maul, Donez, Abigor is going to be HUGE. Needs about 1-2 more consistent players in Charmin's rotation to feel good about holding up physically
Michelle is the key and was able to stay on the floor. AZ had no one who could match her athleticism, length and experience
Lo made a number of great passes to her and she finished against doubles
Lulu extended her run of providing the primary firepower
Big contributions from Maul who is getting back into game shape
AZ got into Marta’s head as she held the ball too long and locked in on driving. She needs to make quicker decisions with the ball and/or drive within the flow of our offense
