Cal Athletics announces its return to Nike

Cal Athletics announced its return to Nike this coming July 2023. The Bears will now be fitted by the Swoosh.
Cal Athletics announced a 3 year deal with the brand and with BSN Sports. Cal Athletics released this statement for the announcement.
Cal Athletics has entered into a new three-year agreement with Nike and BSN SPORTS, Director of Athletics Jim Knowlton announced Wednesday. As part of the partnership, Nike and BSN Sports will be Cal's official provider of apparel, footwear and other equipment needs.
The partnership will officially begin on July 1.
"We are excited to enter into this new partnership that allows our 30 sports programs to be outfitted in Nike gear," Knowlton said. "It will continue to elevate our brand while providing our student-athletes and staff the resources they need to compete at the highest level."
Maybe Bancroft Clothing will stock Cal gear again? Nothing can be more depressing for an old Cal fan than walking into Bancroft Clothing these days. Once my Cal merchandise Mecca, there's is hardly a trace of Cal on the shelves now.
egads, imagine if they just broke back out the cartoonish Berenstain Bears looking jerseys/bear logo from the Dykes era?
those big game edition UA unis were hot, and I was hoping we'd get something like that as more regular alternates.
