Watched some of the Yankees/Mets game last night. It provided an example of things that can be done to continue to practice social distancing, simulate fandom both with visual and audio components (piped in crowd noise). So I suppose a Cal season might be possible if the Pac-12 learns some of these lessons and there is a significant degree of Covid recovery over the next two months.
I hope everybody recovers quickly, but with this virus, it is not always so easy. If the infected are football players, we are already down 8 guys. If you view it like injuries piling up, not really a good omen for the season.
Author's Note: The story was updated to include the San Jose Mercury News' report today (July 17) that another 25 students tested positive from fraternity and sorority parties held this summer.
