Cal Baseball 2026 Schedule Released
The 2026 California Golden Bears' Baseball Schedule is here!
The fall semester is close to wrapping up in Berkeley, CA, which means spring sports are just around the corner, and schedules for those sports are coming out for us fans, alumni, friends, and family to mark our calendars and support the Golden State’s greatest institution.
Cal Baseball posted a disappointing 24–31 (9–21 ACC) record in 2025 under head coach Mike Neu in his 8th season leading the Golden Bears. Cal had some moments to remember, including sweeping Stanford on The Farm and making an unexpected run in the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament, where they eliminated Miami and Wake Forest before losing to Georgia Tech in the semi-finals.
Now, California turns the page to 2026. The Golden Bears have 54 games ahead ot them, including seven opponents who played in the 2025 NCAA College Baseball Regionals (UC Irvine, UNC, St. Mary’s, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Miami - of which Louisville went on to play in the Semifinals of the College World Series).
Keeping OOC-play within the state of California, the Golden Bears will open the season in Berkeley against Santa Clara with a split four-game series at Stu Gordon Stadium and Stephen Schott Stadium. Cal then returns to Southern California for the first time since May of 2024 for a three-game series at UC Irvine (D1 Baseball ranked No. 25 in 2025), before splitting a series with UC Davis in Berkeley and Davis, and hosting Sac State for two games and playing one in the state's capital. CSU Bakersfield and San Diego will then each be hosted at Evans Diamond, prior to the Bears playing one at SJSU before ACC play begins.
ACC play starts on March 13th against UNC with a three-game series, and the schedule returns to OOC games during the week, and conference games on the weekends until the end of the season. Cal will play 28 home games in 2026.
The annual California versus Stanford rivalry series will be played on May 14th - May 16th to close out the regular season before the ACC baseball tournament.
Let us know which games you will be looking forward to attending! I know Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark is on my list this season!

Go Bears! Tough schedule but good challenges early in season
Smart to keep the OOC on the west coast. Plenty of travel during ACC slate.
