I understand using the Opener for the first game of the series since a few of these relievers can pitch again on games 3 and 4. But it is alarming that the Bears don't have reliable starters outside Sean Sullivan and maybe Stoutenborough (who actually works better as the bulk guy after an opener). There's still plenty of time to figure this out though.
Owen, did you actually had access to a radar gun or was just estimating Wolger's velocity?
If Grant Holman were available (planning on asking Mike Neu about this later), I think that'd solve most of the pitching problems. Mitchell Scott also went 2.2 this game, and I'd like to see how far his stamina can be tested.
