The only game that matters right now is Stanfurd on Saturday. Not an easy game. One step at a time.

tonight's bubble watch:

It'd be great if USC were to lose to Illinois tonight. Maybe Stojakavich can do us a solid for old times' sake.

Along those same lines, maybe Dennis Gates can find it in his heart to have his Mizzou Tigers lose to Vandy tonight.

It'd be nice if our old Pac-12 brethren Utah could beat bubblicious WVU tonight.

I don't think Seattle has a chance to beat St. Mary's tonight, which is fine because I can't root against the Gaels anyways.

SMC -10.5 but the Redhawks did beat "Furd at Maples and UW at home. Schizophrenic team.

A Mizzou L would be nice.

Would love to see us make a run and win a couple of ACC tourney games to have a real chance but talking about this scenario Vs what we were lamenting about last year - I’ll take that every time.

Seen at least 1 bracketologist opine they need to win out. IMO they win out they’re a total lock, so maybe he is looking at lock status, I dunno.….win the next 4 and they’re bubble-icious come Selection Sunday - a W or 2 in ACCT would definitely help.

Newellbany and I talked since fUCLA W about liking their chances with 4-1 here on out, provided that L is @ Wake, where it won’t hurt them as much. Get to 10-8. That game at Syracuse coulda done wonders.

Unfortunately, there are no “good losses” late in the season for a Bubble team, so ANY L in the next 4 is maybe the nail in the coffin, with SMU now having become a must win. And you can’t lose in Atlanta.

But 10-8 in the ACC with 4 Q1 W’s is a strong resume.

Win out in the regular season, should be in. Drop 1 and get an ACC Tournament win, also should be in.

Less than that and we're up to the vagaries of the committee and not looking too strong.

Though I must repeat that even being in this position is a pretty impressive performance for this team.

This has already been a fantastic year.
