Like Nick stated, I too will reserve hope for high impact freshmen with names not pronounced **-shon. Man we gotta love us some Shawns/Seans. If you're thinking "haha you big dummy, correlation is not causation," you might be right.

But what if I offer you a blue pill and a gold pill. If you take the blue pill, you become an Old Blue and are forever miserable and keep on dreading market crashes, space lasers, and the day Wilcox leaves for Oregon. Stop reading here.

Ahhhhh, it seems you have taken the gold pill. What if told you the last time Cal had 10 wins (2006) was with Marshawn and DeSean. What if I told you the 10 win season before that (2004) was just with Marshawn. And what if I told you the last 10 win season prior to that (1991) featured, you guessed it, Sean Dawkins! And all three of these guys grew up in California. Every 10 win season in the last 7 decades, since Pappy was leading the Bears, has featured at least 1 of these dudes. So you can go on believing that Cal football is destined to struggle, or you can wake up and recognize that Cal football should retrace its roots and recruit more California **-shons.

Anyhow, Jermaine Terry is a big unit with one helluva future. Any update on his knee?
