I wonder how thrilled Troy Taylor was with Luck's hire. It might be a good thing for their program, but also implies a deficiency in the head coach, and takes some of his control away. Head coaches these days are defacto GMs, I'm sure Wilcox spends more time off the field than on doing the day-to-day. If Cal were to hire a GM, Wilcox would need to have veto authority over the choice to avoid creating more issues for the program.
Marshawn? Aaron? They seem to be the highest profile and still buy into Cal culture. But Ronnie Riv would be such a good fit. Vince Ferragamo? Even papa tedford??
In the era of the transfer portal, bad news (bye, Fernando) is often tempered with good news (welcome, Tyson) and vice versa. Welcome to the new college football reality.
Can he throw the ball ?
ha ha
Or maybe throw QBs…gently…
Welcome Tyson! Go Bears!
Love. It.
Absolutely.
Trenches!
Nice!
Go Bears!!
The top schools lose players left and right so there's a tremendous amount of talent available. This is where schools that have hired a GM will shine.

I think the Luck hire is Stanford deciding they want to be good at football again. They sure as heck have the resources to do it.
WRONG WRONG WRONG. I guarantee you that Troy asked for it. 1,000,000% certain.
Do we have a GM?
Not yet. Absolutely essential.

Great News! Now, how about adding some talent thru the portal to the O Line?
This has to be the priority…maybe now after QB…
An OL Coach would be a great first step.
I assume they're working on it.
Nice! Look for am eventual boost in offense too. The ACC is there to be had.
