Can't see why we would be favored after the shellacking on Saturday. Vegas forgot that we are wearing the throwback unis in which we never win.

I have now seen enough of Wilcox to have little hope for next year as the program continues to accept mediocrity and embraces a Big Game win over the worst Stanford team since the early 2000's. Erratic performances from week to week are a team specialty. I would not be surprised if Cal beats USC, but also not be surprised if they lose by 28 points.

IMO, $C will play inspired football given they now have a bona fide HC. Players will want to ball out for him. And $C looked really good against BYU. Vegas threw out a line, let's see how it moves this week.

When was the last time we were favored to beat SC?

That's a great question, and one I can't answer, because it predates when I started keeping track of betting odds. My guess would be something like 2000.

Has Cal team with a losing record ever been favored to beat SC?

Not entirely sure why the Bears are favored by anything more than a FG. Did Berkeley pass an emergency order banning the blitz bc of COVID?

We’re favored by 2. I was thrown by “one score” also, assuming it was a TD or so.
