I spent huge chunks of this game taking the Lord’s name in vain.

And then Luke Ferelli happens.

Turns out, the name to use was The Prophet, Mike Mohamed!

I actually didn't drop any F bombs until BC's last drive.

I was pouring beer at an Oktoberfest being hosted at my project. I had my iPad on the side so I could watch the game. People were wondering why I kept saying fuck while I was pouring them a beer 🤣

Every Cal game is an exercise in the free use of the F-bomb at every opportunity.

A lot of young fans were saying f cal. I mostly smiled and just told them that is generally what I say as well when watching. That said, I could smell the fear in the desperate bc cheers. That place emptied out fast.

Flew out to Boston for this one and this will be up there for all time favorite Cal wins. Wow, what a f-ing rollercoaster. Great turn out by Cal fans—sang the drinking song twice, so far. Go bears!!

Agreed but I think the passing game becomes much easier when the running game is working and not abandoned. It also helps when their starting DBs are out, if true.

Great comment. Didn’t think about that during the game but we didn’t drop many passes. Btw, did Hamper play today?

Wilcox has said he’s been dealing with something small since fall camp. Maybe they finally figured a week off could help him recover better.

What a game.

It reminded me of Pitt and then it reminded me of Texas.

Fans showed up big and didn’t give up.

Lyons, Rivera, Madsen, and TEDFORD were all there, as well as many of Tedfords former players.

We are linking the past with the present and I can sense that Cal is all in

Yeah, y'all were heard on TV and received a lot of air time. I'm happy for the players and their gutsy win but especially happy for all the Bear fans that attended the game and supported the lads!!

Was at the game. My BC buddy said the only time Alumni Stadium is that full is when Notre Dame comes to town. And yes, we were definitely louder than BC in the fourth. Other observation: the momentum and energy in the last minute from the Cal sideline was infectious. BC’s players on their sideline were not nearly as hyped as ours. Chestnut Hill is Bear Territory!

Where did this team come from that is winning close games? Lol.

Mistakes and concerns remain like penalties and tackling, but we should all be happy... at least for this week.

In the moment, as Cal fans, I don't think any of us got to truly enjoy the TD pass to Mason Mini. We all just saw 1:28 on the clock and started pounding heart meds. But man, that pass was thrown with incredible touch, dropped in over 3 defenders. Cash money.

The Cal section went on full heart meds for sure at the moment - I hugged everyone in sight, and again when Ferrelli sealed it!

He certainly cannot find a way to get a yard or half a yard when needed. Or the last three OC’s cannot. Not sure but they about lost because of that.

Probably going to lose my voice after this one. The plantains at taqueria de Carrizal stole the show. Solid cal fan base. Had a great time. It was looking rather dim for a minute there at the end.

Raise your hand if, after the early interception, your heart sank and you poured a drink? "Here we go again: a Wilcox team lacks the discipline and focus to rebound from the last week's demoralizing loss, and they're certainly not going to recover from this abysmal start." I told my wife, "there's a 65% chance that interception was the end of the season."

Well COLOR ME SURPRISED. What a gutsy, gritty road comeback - loved it. Loved it so much.

Go Bears!!!

I considered muting the game and putting some physical distance between myself and the TV for my own psychological safety.

Credit to the team for stabilizing the ship. This would have been an unmitigated disaster in seasons past. Their ability to keep cool under pressure is perhaps the most impressive facet of this win.
