It's best when Nick gets to flex his prodigious MS Paint skills.

Hoping Jerod Haase hits that Ben Braun zone of "not bad enough to get fired", "not good enough to beat Cal" when the Bears figure out how to do this basketball thing right again.

Must’ve been a very wet arrival in San Jose. All the rain on their parade.

Also Colorado won't be playing at altitude so they lose that conditioning advantage,

I'm glad we could expose Jerod Haase because he's frankly just not a good coach, Fox runs circles around him and I love it. I initially called a 75-69 win before the game until I looked at our season where we only scored 75 twice, so then I revised it to a 72-65 win and yet somehow we got a 76 burger! Always a good time to smother Furd and hopefully we can carry the momentum because if there is anything i know about Cal Fox led teams is that they peak at tournament time.

Walton kept taking about the difference between the Cal bench, players smiling and whooping it up and the Stanford bench, which sat stone cold silent.

I can't say that I was surprised about Stanford going through the motions because they have really blown their NCAA chance in the past few weeks. Cal, on the other hand, only had one path forward -- a still very improbable Pac-12 tournament win. It was much easier for the Bears to play unhindered.

I also love that, I value anything involving energy whether it be in basketball or football and that's a euphoria you can't replace or teach.

Totally. I've been a business leader for many decades now, and I pay enormous attention to the sense of esprit de corps of my staff and my Bears. I said about an earlier game that the players were clearly all in for each other and for Fox. We don't have the talent to play sweet 16 ball right now, but I personally have a deep love of teams that play their hardest for each other and their coaches. Just warms my deepest heart. Good job Fox and coaches. It's not accidental.

Sweet, sweet victory. Will be interesting to see what Stanford does with Haase. Although the program has improved and they have started to recruit premium talent, this will be his fifth year w/o an NCAA invite already. I suspect he'll be back, but how many coaches get that long a leash?

Go Bears indeed. A very entertaining game where Bradley's block flipped the script of a Stanford comeback.

That was a monster play....downright monster!!!!

Cal hit a LOT of late clock shots that I'm not used to us making....usually the other team makes those..... T'was a nice change!
