Given the fact that field hockey players (a couple of extra defenders) get to wear extra protection (corner masks or just goggles) on penalty corners, I don't think relying on field players diving to make field block is the safest thing to do for a long season.
Cal woman's soccer has a lot of talent / potential. It will be fun watching this team's progress. Love the speed this team has, connect on a few crisp passes and we should hear, "she's gone" several times this year!
