Speed Kills

A bit longer practice today as the Bears ramp up to full pads to end the week. Seems like they are trying to get into the season rhythm and schedule of playing on Saturdays. The hype builds just as much for fans with the chance to see a brand new look for the Bears against UC-Davis.

Catch of the Day

There wasn’t necessarily a highlight reel play compared to the other days, but from the other side of the ball, Safety Craig Woodson had pass break-ups on back-to-back snaps. Both were really impressive plays in reading and reacting to play the ball. He also got the step on Jermaine Terry during the blitz pick-up drills and blew by him for the sack. The trend of a different DB showing out every practice has continued.
