Day 2 of being in the stands, but we fared better with the perfect amount of overcast, no wind and perfect outdoor exercise temperature. The team is still ramping up to the rhythm of playing football, with mostly position drills and plenty of walkthroughs. We got a couple of 7-on-7 periods but it was another day of fundamentals and install.
Catch of the day
Jack Plummer threw a deep bomb to Jeremiah Hunter. The pass gets broken up by Lu-Magia Hearns, but the ball tips up into the air and Hunter bobbles it a few more times before securing the ball and running into the endzone. It drew some ovation and cheers from the decent crowd in attendance for Saturday’s practice.
