Cal Football 2022 Fall Camp: Notebook #5
New Names. New Stars.
The Bears were finally out in full pads with them ramping up to full contact to end the week. Another beautiful day out at Memorial Stadium, but I think I might need more sunscreen. My SPF70 Neutrogena Sunscreen and NorthFace Bucket hat still aren’t enough and I’m starting to see a small tan line around my ankles. It’s not great.
Catch of the Day
Another day. Another group of two. First was Mason Starling with an absolute monster one-handed grab on a catch down the sideline. He just ripped it with one hand and got into the endzone. Everyone in the stands just gave an ovation for that play. The second was from Jeremiah Hunter who also got in on the acrobatics with a one-handed grab, on what looked like a corner route. Just got to his spot and outmuscled the DB on the play
