Welcome back to the beautiful Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, California for this daytime matchup between two rising units.

First day of full pads, but as Coach Toler noted there wasn’t a big change in the intensity or flow of practice. It was just a bit more contact than they were previously doing. The emphasis or point of interest was of course the run game and the offensive line, as they could be a bit more physical with the contact and blocking schemes. The defense is still ahead of the offense as a whole, but you could argue that the offense had the better day in full pads.

Notable standouts were of course the QBs with Kai Millner and Jack Plummer getting the lion’s share of the snaps in 7-on-7 and full team periods.
