After a short hiatus, I’m back on the spring football notebook grind! No frills. We jump right in.
Full Pads. 2Min Drill. Redzone work. 7-on-7 work.
The first name on the board for the day has to be Mavin Anderson. A 25-yard back-shoulder-one-handed-catch-and-toe-touch reception by the sophomore WR was one of the highlight plays of the day. Who threw the pass? His roommate Kai Millner. The two seem to have a growing connection over this spring. Mavin has become a solid WR threat and likely a starter or the first WR off of the bench. He’s explosive, great out of his breaks, and with some solid YAC as well. Mavin and J.Mike are slowly becoming butt-out-of-seat electric players when the ball is thrown their way.
