Good - I can record it and fast forward…just in case we lay an egg

My good friend, who is a Beavers fan, will be coming to the game with me. He will have swell time.

I don’t remember this many 7PM starts in a single season before.

Have to go in person bc it’s on P12 Net so won’t be televised 😀

O: After last Saturday's debacle, I don't think that there is a thriving market to watch Cal Football. Hence, the late start.

According to Canzano 1.2 million people watched the Cal - Washington game, not bad. The most watched game in the nation was Colorado against Oregon with 10 million viewers. Of course I am not happy that a million people saw the fateful first 5 minutes of the contest. O the horror! The best thing about the ESPN broadcast was Cal's new commercial, not UC a place...

Understood! Just getting in my final jokes about the lack of carriage of the P12 Net. Feels like the Ice Town idea of Adam Scott’s character in Parks and Rec

but at least he was an idiot 18 year old mayor when he launched ice town. the adults who ruined pac 12 have no such excuse. great reference btw!!!

For any misguided, sunshine pumping souls that have maybe been living on Neptune the past month and honestly believe this roster and coaching staff has 4 more wins in them to gain bowl eligibility (Sun Bowl in El Paso…sigh), the next 2 weeks fall into the “must win” category…

The main cause for hope here is that college football results fairly frequently make no fucking sense. It’s like the fog of litigation - you can’t really say with much more than 80% accuracy who will win on any given day, just have to show up to court and find out.

There's enough data on Justin Wilcox to pretty accurately predict results.

This team is not upsetting anyone.

Great, I'll be there for parents weekend, but I already told my wife to get the $36 tix because I don't even know if we're going to make it till 7. (I know there's a frat party on the agenda, as well as other things involving the alcohols.)

We'll be going to the water polo match tho.

My cousin's husband (recently bought a few houses in Corvallis and also moved into one of them) is coming down to Berkeley for the game. We were set to return the favor in 2024 by visiting Reser. But now that won't happen. Hopefully the Bears will pull it out.

I hope we win. It is possible. My Beaver fan buddy can be a real Jackass, especially when they win. Am thinking Jackson is the best shot we have, even if he is inexperienced. This special team's mess needs to be cleaned up. How could it be so bad? This stuff should be squared away by now. Our run defense has been pretty good and that's what the Beavs do best, so should be a heck of a game. That last one was such a poor showing against an elite team where you have to be at your best to be in it. We were never ever in it. ASU this Saturday, what will the Bear offense be? I dunno, but I'm going anyway.

Yes, and he likes his coach where he is. He gets some protection and time to throw. Nice to see him doing well.
