Looking at the payouts from the 2023 Bowls (which may be very different in 2024 due to the expanded playoff), Vegas Bowl ($2.9 M) is similar to Independence Bowl ($2.2 M) but way lower than the Holiday Bowl ($6.5 M) and even the Sun Bowl ($4.6 M). The one site I found had an "unannounced" for the LA Bowl Hosted by Gronk.

Oh, I miss the "good ol days" when the PAC12 champion played the BIG10 champion the Rose Bowl every year. l

Or at least for Cal to have a chance to play in the Rose Bowl game. That’s still my hope even though it wouldn’t be for a Pac 12/Big Eighteen match up. The good old days would require us to go back to the 20s through 50s.

I would love to have Oregon, Colorado, Texas and BYU as the P4 champions - every conference won by a newcomer (BYU is year 2 in B12 but still)

Ugh…so torn. This would not be a great season for the NYE Day visit to El Paso…too much going on in DEC. Hoping for LA!

It's gotta be the Sun Bowl. I hope you can make it Mssr. Chitwood since it's been on your mind for some time.
