I look forward to seeing these running backs play this Saturday night. I sincerely hope the OL opens space for them to gain yards and keep the UCLA defense honest. Go Bears!
RB room portends obvious improvement in last year’s all but nonexistent running game. My main concern is the OL and the DL. Can these guys step up and block, open holes, push guys out of the way and chase down opposing QBs? And I’d say Santino is something of a sleeper behind Muhammad and Vargas, with blazing speed to unleash if he gets loose. I expect the running game to provide the balance that will help JKS work his magic by keeping defenses honest. Hopefully, we will have a better idea of where this team might be going in just 5 more days.
RB room looks very strong. I like the thunder and lightning combo of Muhammed and Vargas. And from what I’ve read,Emory is a tough dude, played a good portion of last year with a cast on his hand. League is athletic with good speed. He needs carries to develop, but has potential. We at least go 4 deep in the RB room.
On another note where’s Rugbear??!! Need an updated OL analysis from the trenches!!
Last year’s running game was a disaster of epic proportions. This group will be meaningfully better, I’m sure of it, even if our Oline is not any better.
I was obviously worried about last season's departures. Despite the overhaul, I think the talent level is equal or better. If our OL is better and our WRs, TEs, and RBs can block, we're gonna have a lot of fun.
I'm very curious if we will peak later in the year (injuries aside) as inexperienced players move up the steep portion of the experience curve and we can install more complex plays and formations.

With a solid running game, no telling what JKS is capable of.
