Cal Football Alum Returning to Berkeley To Meet With New Coaches and Players
The California Golden Bears continue to reach back into the past to inspire the new generation.
Tosh Lupoi has recruited not just new players to come to Berkeley, but also found time to get some familiar old faces to drop by as well. We’ve already mentioned Marshawn Lynch, Cameron Jordan and Jared Goff dropping on by. Here are a few others.
Desean Jackson, now the head coach at Delaware State, made a stopover during Super Bowl week.
Former Cal wide receiver Jeremy Ross came back to address the players.
Tully Banta-Cain, Lupoi’s former teammate at Cal at the turn of the century, gave a pep talk to the team.
Also, Craig Woodson and Jaylinn Hawkins took a quick trip home during Super Bowl week, then both performed extremely well for the Patriots in a loss against Seattle.

Having the Super Bowl nearby was a great opportunity. Glad we're using it!
Go Bears!!
