Monday, December 20th, 2021 the Pac-12 conference announced the foundation of the Pac-12 Football Alumni Council. The Council will look to be consulting and promoting for the Conference nationally in all aspects of the sport. The council will begin with an initial group of former players around the conference. The Bears will be well represented with Running Back Justin Forsett, Running Back Shane Vereen, and Center Alex Mack.
I hope I'm wrong, but this has RED FLAGS all over it. It sounds like this is a vehicle they will use to promote woke, progressive, SJW causes. The last thing we need to do as a conference is to get political. Going woke has been bad for the NFL and NBA. I have a feeling they're going to use all these illustrious alumni as mouthpieces to promote social grievance causes. Please tell me I'm wrong!
Great brand ambassadors! As we remember from the Big Game, Shane's got a head start as on-air talent. Forsett also did some color commentary with the Ravens and is a supremely likeable dude. Alex is famous for his energy and charisma.
That is 3 impressive men representing Cal and all PAC12 football players!! Well done, gents.
